While we’re settling into life off the bicycle, we’re editing furiously here in Nairobi.
It all seems like a long time ago, but our 1980 km journey from Windhoek to Lusaka back in July – August was full of hard cycling and interesting people. We made our way through the Zambezi strip, avoiding elephants, into Zambia where we were stuffed full of inspiration to live a happier, greener life at the Greenpop Festival of Action 2016. This was also where we took delivery of our sponsored gear from winning the Millet Expedition Project – including tents from Nemo, a stove from Optimus, suncream from Tingerlaat, a water filter from Katadyn and sleeping bags and clothing from Millet themselves.
Our arrival in Lusaka marked the end of Hamish’s journey with us – University in Glasgow beckoned – and it was an emotional goodbye. You can read more about Hamish’s departure here.
We have at least two more video diaries in the pipeline which chart Russell and Steven’s journey as a duo from Lusaka all the way to Nairobi. Stay tuned in the New Year for those.
Oh, and if you get to the end, there’s a nice wee Hamish-sized out-take for you to enjoy 🙂
